Professional Experience
Justin Casson, MAI, is a Director in the Valuation & Advisory Services Group’s New York office. He has over 27 years of professional experience in the preparation and review of real estate appraisals, feasibility studies, rent analyses and market studies of commercial and residential properties.
Mr. Casson specializes in the valuation of residential properties throughout the Northeast Region and has worked successfully with some of CBRE’s most prestigious clients. He leads the New York Multi-Housing Valuation Team and has noteworthy experience valuing Stuyvesant Town, a residential complex with over 11,000 units, as well as MiMA and Carlton House. His clients include financial institutions, developers, individual and corporate property owners and attorneys. In addition to Mr. Casson’s expertise in the valuation of residential property, his appraisal experience encompasses a wide variety of property types including office buildings, commercial lofts, malls, shopping centers, industrial facilities, resorts, mixed-use developments, residential and office studies, as well as portfolio and multi-property assignments.
Mr. Casson holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute as well as Appraisal Licenses in New York and Connecticut. Prior to joining CBRE in 2007, Mr. Casson was Director of Valuation Services at Cushman & Wakefield.
