Kate Hasz is currenty serving MultiCare as Senior Manager of the Portfolio Management team. Kate’s team is responsible for all property management issues relating to MultiCare’s leased portfolio. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for managing relationships with MultiCare landlords and tenants, working collabortively with Multicare’s operational departments in solving building related issues and for optimizing the financial performance of the leased portfolio.
Kate has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1987. She has experience in commercial real estate appraisal, property managment, lease administration, managing tenant improvement/construction projects, facilities management and lease/contract negotiations.
Immediately prior to joining CBRE on the MultiCare account, Kate worked for the Sabey Corporation who owns two Class A medical office buildings on the Swedish Cherry Hill Campus in Seattle. Swedish Health Services was the primary tenant in both buildings and Kate worked closely with Swedish Administration and its operational, legal and risk management departments in solving complex leasing and operational issues. In this role, Kate’s other major health care tenants included Polyclinic, the Seattle University Nursing Program, Accium Biosciences, Seattle Science Foundation, Labcorp and Northwest Kidneys Centers.
Prior to joining the Sabey Corporation, Kate worked at Tully’s Coffee as the Director of Real Estate. Kate represented Tullys in all aspects of its leased portfolio. Kate negotiated new lease agreements, early terminations, rent abatements and renewals. She was responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with landlords and managed the financial performance and occupancy costs of each retail location. She served as the primary contact for outside general counsel on all real estate issues and managed retail brokers along the West Coast contracted to secure new retail locations.
