Kathy joined CBRE in 2004 and has served in multiple senior leadership roles within Global Corporate Services for a broad range of CBRE’s largest clients. Her background includes experience in a broad range of commercial industries including Financial Services, Health Care, Retail, Medical Devices, Defense, Technology and Performing Arts. Her current role is with the Microsoft Account as the Americas Regional Lead within the unique Global Integrator Model for collaborative comprehensive real estate service delivery in North America and South America.
She served as the Alliance Director for the BP North America Account during which time she lead the team to support the BP clients through the Deepwater Horizon incident managing the overall CBRE support effort for all Command Centers for local and national partners engaged in the crisis management and cleanup efforts, including facilities ramp up and demobilization throughout the Gulf region. She developed a Commitment to Excellence Transformation Plan that secured a four year no-bid contract extension and launched in a new organization structure for Centers of Excellence for all core functional cross portfolio teams. In this role, she also was the Senior Account Lead for the Intelligent Integrated Services Network (IISN) partnership with Compass and Eurest Services. She also served as Alliance Director for major accounts based in Minneapolis and Toronto.
Prior to joining BP she was Senior Strategist for Bank of America. In that role, she worked with the client to define a new Strategic Real Estate Planning platform for the acquisition integration and portfolio optimization of 60MM SF representing in over 70 markets globally. She has overseen the development of Portfolio Strategy Platforms for other large Fortune 500 organizations such as UnitedHealth Group, Medtronic, Target and others.
In addition to her strategic consulting and account management background, she was also deeply engaged in launching numerous major project developments. She recommended and managed the design of five major Headquarters Expansion Master Plans for over $500M in new campus development projects. She also collaborated on the design and construction of several major data center projects and a three theater complex each exceeding $100 million and involving complex local and state funding strategies.
