Kevin Jones serves as Planning Business Manager on CBRE’s Microsoft account. He is responsible for overseeing all six-month migration and two-year allocation planning, developing planning-related deliverables, and managing the overall rhythm of business for Portfolio Planning Solutions (PPS). Other responsibilities include relationship management with Microsoft Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F) leadership and developing talent within PPS. Mr. Jones also serves as the primary PPS contact for the Workplace Relationship Managers (RMs) representing each business group within Microsoft.
Mr. Jones joined the Microsoft account in 2012. He manages a five-person team responsible for preparing and delivering six-month migration plans and two-year allocation plans for Microsoft’s Puget Sound real estate portfolio. He also oversees the preparation and delivery of ad hoc planning analyses requested by key personnel within Microsoft RE&F.
During his nearly 15 years at Transpo Group, a transportation planning/engineering consulting firm, Mr. Jones was responsible for managing short- and long-range planning projects for which data were collected/analyzed, forecasts developed, solutions identified, and findings and recommendations were presented. He regularly collaborated with land developers/owners, real estate professionals, land use attorneys, architects and agency staff. Mr. Jones was also responsible for client relationship management, business development, and presenting expert witness testimony at public hearings. He reported directly to the President/CEO and was accountable for firm-wide operations, including execution and delivery; quality and value assurance; financial/risk management; and work processes and systems.
