Kim Penny is the Director of Transaction Mangement for CBRE’s MedStar Heath account overseeing transactions in the Baltimore, MD/ Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She joined the account in January 2013. MedStar Health is a not-for-profit, $4.5 billion healthcare system based in Columbia, MD. Prior to joining the Global Corporate Services Team, Kim was a First Vice President in office brokerage in the CBRE Baltimore office for 17 years. Before joining CBRE, she was a Vice President in office brokerage at Casey & Associates in Columbia, MD.
With more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate arena, Kim has a strong knowledge spanning the Baltimore / Washington, D.C. marketplace and leasing disciplines. Her expertise primarily lies in landlord representation. Kim is accredited with developing and implementing creative solutions that achieve favorable outcomes for her clients. She has been able to guide and provide solutions to facilitate clients in effectively managing their real estate holdings to maintain overall profitability in business climates where standards for reimbursements were declining.
Kim is also very active in the community having served as a member of the Howard County Leadership events committee, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, as a Girls Scouts of America Troop Leader and a Red Devils Board Member.
