As Managing Director in the San Jose/Silicon Valley office, Kirsten assists with the implementation of sales management processes; including market meetings, inbound and outbound referrals, business plan reporting and the coordination of targeted vertical pursuit strategies. She focuses on effective recruitment, development and performance management of associates and serves as a conduit for brokerage professionals in providing insight into and identifying resources within CBRE’s enterprise platform.
Prior to this role, Kirsten’s career in commercial real estate began in 1994 at CPS, a former Silicon Valley boutique firm. She successfully orchestrated over 260 lease and sale transactions representing over 7 million square feet for a total consideration of over $853 million. In 2007, Kirsten joined CBRE as Senior Vice President of Investment Properties within the Institutional Group in San Jose. Despite the challenges in the financial market, she and her team leased and sold 4 million square feet for a total consideration of $650 million from 2007-2010. Her well-rounded, diverse expertise is derived from tenant and landlord representation in both sale, lease and leased investment transactions in the Silicon Valley. The majority of Kirsten’s business is repeat and referral due to her reputation for being meticulous and responsive to both her clients and brokers.
Kirsten was previously an active member of the Silicon Valley chapters of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Association, ASVB (Association of Silicon Valley Brokers) and the Belden Club.
Prior to joining the commercial real estate industry, Kirsten worked as a sales representative for a silicon wafer brokerage firm selling to capital equipment manufacturers.
Kirsten is married with two boys and lives in Los Gatos. When she is not working, she enjoys running, cooking, photography, water skiing, snow skiing and traveling, especially to Mexico.
