As a Transaction Manager within the Advisory and Transaction practice of CBRE, Kody serves multi-national corporate occupiers with strategic portfolio and transaction management.
Before joining CBRE, Kody worked for JPMorgan Chase, where he was a member of the Global Real Estate team. In this role, he was responsible for process design and analysis for the entire real estate lifecycle with a focus on risk mitigation and efficiencies. Kody worked closely with senior leadership to develop future-state process flows to manage capital programs that included incorporating enhanced usage of technology and tools. During his time with this group, Kody assisted with the process implementation for the development of the firm’s new global headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, as well as the firm’s new energy sustainability programs.
Prior to his work with JPMorgan’s Global Real Estate team, Kody was a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Services group. In this role, he was responsible for producing annual financial statements, net-asset value packages, cash-flow analysis and capital calls/distributions for multiple real estate funds (more than $1 Billion in total commitments).
