Kristy is the embedded account strategist on the Comerica Bank Account based in Auburn Hills, MI. She is responsible for supporting the client’s specific real estate needs with respect to strategic portfolio planning and workplace strategy, including the development of the CRE Strategic Plan. Kristy also provides communications support thru preparation of SET presentations, QBRs and other governance processes; identifies and implements best practices and benchmarking surveys with other financial industry clients; and prepares account wide newsletters, townhall presentations and other duties as requested.
Kristy joined CBRE through the merger with Trammell Crow Company in January of 2007. Throughout her career, Kristy provided support and accomplished operational excellence and customer satisfaction thru contributions in multiple service lines –
Communications Manager – managed the organization's day-to-day advertising/marketing, media relations, creative editorial, social media and other communications services. Additional responsibilities included the coordination and development of more complex and/or higher profile internal and/or external communication materials (newsletters, press releases, internet/intranet pages, annual and interim financial reports) and events, broadening knowledge and further developing skills.
Strategic Portfolio Planning – supported the global strategy and transactions team thru KPI development and reporting, SET presentations, account governance committees, and business operations reporting. Developed accelerated cost & surplus space reduction strategies as a result of a merger of the two companies, which aligned the real estate facility strategies with the business units’ current & future work placement and staffing strategies.
Mergers/ Acquisition & Divestiture - provided real estate subject matter expertise for multiple deals on a global basis.
Project Management - responsible for multiple renovation/ consolidation projects throughout the US Midwest region including the ground-up construction completed in 2002 of the EDS Product and Fulfillment Distribution Center in Des Moines, IA and multiple renovation projects for the EDS Madison WI facility (ADA restrooms, HVAC systems and Roof replacement) in 2002 – 2004. Additionally, supplied real estate subject matter expertise thru coordination of internal real estate groups for the property sales of two EDS owned facilities in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin in 2003 and 2004 respectively.
Before joining EDS, Kristy worked for DeConti-Jernigan Associates for 5 years leading the interior design, space planning and project management services for multiple commercial property management clients, primarily for office, retail, and medical space.
