Professional Experience
Laura Taylor is a member of the 17-person DFW Advisory and Transaction Services Team. The Team is nationally recognized by CBRE for delivering world-class, portfolio-wide advisory and transaction services exclusively to corporate occupiers through dedicated resources, the CBRE corporate platform and a proven track record. Ms. Taylor is a Senior Transaction Manager and supports the Team’s contract process including: reviewing, redlining, drafting modifying and developing all relevant contracts/leases; utilizing corporate and client critical document guidelines and best practices; and developing relationships with the Team’s clients. She acts as liaison between client in-house and outside legal counsel, landlords and the Team to foster efficiency, minimize risk and obtain results. Tenacious, but fair, Ms. Taylor’s skills and enthusiasm aide the team in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
Ms. Taylor has her law degree and is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas. Her career focus has been commercial and retail real estate, acting in a non-traditional legal role. While she does not actively practice law, she utilizes her training and know-how to support broker teams. She joins the Team from her previous role with CBRE as a Senior Transaction Manager on the Sprint GWS account. While on the Sprint account, Laura managed leases for Sprint’s international commercial offices, played a key role in managing the transition of 360 Radio Shack Corporation leases to Sprint leases, and was responsible for managing the lease renewals for over 800 retail stores. Her role included large project oversight, group management and overseeing renewals which resulted in over $3 million in rent reductions for Sprint in just two years.
