Chartered Financial Analysts (Charlottesville, VA) Served as Principal in Charge for CFA’s Corporate Headquarters conversion of a former hospital. The $20 million project incorporated the latest technology in their conference and data rooms. Significant energy and green design components were incorporated with a LEED gold certification as the final objective.
FBI (Central Virginia location) This $23.8 million project encompassed over 175,000 SF of space for training and Homeland Security. Work included site planning, forensic labs, office administration, conference, living and kitchen spaces, outdoor training areas and K-9 quarters.
MicroAire (Charlottesville, VA) MicroAire is a manufacturer of precision medical equipment. This project converted a vacant, 74,000 SF facility into office space, a medical training space, shipping/receiving and fabrication areas. The fab areas included spaces for CNC machinery, clean rooms and QA.
DEA FAST (Stafford, VA) This 33,060 SF, $2.1 million secure facility acts as the DEA’s base operations for their foreign deployed agents included a combination of office/command center/SCIF and warehouse.
Department of State (GS-14) This 110,000 SF, 12 story, secure tower is being renovated to include new finishes, walls, doors, ATFP, a new power grid, energy efficient lighting and HVAC control systems.
NSCTB Building 3 (Stafford, VA) North Stafford Center for Business and Technology Building 3 is a $6.2 million, 95,000 SF Class A Office building located in Stafford, VA and houses Marine Corps tenants.
NSCTB Building 1 (Stafford, VA) North Stafford Center for Business and Technology Building 1 is a $14 million, 30,000 SF Class A Office building located in Stafford, VA. The building houses major government contractors.
Department of State - Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) This $500 million facility is currently in the planning phases. Mr. Lindsey was contracted to design all aspects of the evasive and high-performance training circuits.
Homeland Security – Border Patrol Station (Harlingen, TX) This multi-million dollar project included huge improvements and repairs to the detention areas and the installation of a self-contained campus generator system.
