Matt Curtin joined CBRE/New England in June 2017 as Senior Vice President/Partner overseeing the company's Retail Advisory & Transaction Services team in Boston.
Matt has been in the retail real estate industry since early 2003 when he joined The Dartmouth Company. During his first ten years with The Dartmouth Company, Matt was involved in several aspects of the business including suburban ground-up development/shopping center leasing, strategic tenant roll-outs throughout New England, and urban/street-front retail and restaurant leasing. Matt was involved in the leasing of Linden Square in Wellesley, MA, Chapel View in Cranston, RI and Trilogy in Boston's Fenway neighborhood. Matt was also responsible for the New England roll-outs for Cold Stone Creamery, Massage Envy and Ulta Beauty.
In 2013 Matt joined Apple in Cupertino, California as a Senior Real Estate Manager. While at Apple, Matt handled new store site selection, lease negotiations, repositioning and expansions of existing stores for the United States and Australia. In addition to 20+ new mall and lifestyle center stores, Matt was responsible for Apple's Upper East Side store in Manhattan on 74th Street and Madison Avenue.
After two years with Apple, Matt rejoined The Dartmouth Company as Managing Director and head of its urban leasing team. Matt led a team in the leasing of such projects as Ink Block in the South End of Boston, The Viridian in The Fenway, and 39 JFK Street in Harvard Square. Matt also implemented the strategic roll out for Sweetgreen in Boston growing the brand's store count from five to 15 in just two years. Matt's work with Apple continued with his return to brokerage by expanding two stores and strategic relocation of their store in North Shore Mall to MarketStreet in Lynnfield.
Matt graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY in 2002.
