Responsibilities
Matthew McShea is responsible for major alterations and new construction projects for numerous clients. His specific responsibilities include proposals, cost control, management of field personnel and project managers, coordination of trades, supervisors, labor force, and the expedition of projects from the onset to final completion. These projects range from minor alterations to multi-million dollar projects. In addition, Mr. McShea handles negotiating, organizing all compliance matters and contract issues, permit application approvals, trade scheduling, quality control of work in place, punch list completion and tenant move-in.
Professional Experience
Throughout his career Mr. McShea has represented both tenants and owners in a variety of Interior Commercial construction projects, including fast-track build-outs and high profile - award winning construction. While based out of Washington DC, he has accumulated the majority of his experience in Virginia and the Washington D.C, Metropolitan area. Mr. McShea has experience in all stages from initial planning, design, and budgeting as well as estimating through construction and completion.
