Melissa Darnell is a Project Manager for CBRE. In this role Ms. Darnell is responsible for assisting and managing various market ready renovations and tenant improvement projects in the San Jose market.
Ms. Darnell assists with various project tasks including preparing bid packages, analyzing contractor bids, completing the review and approval process per client requirements, monitoring project schedules, and project communication. She works directly with clients, consultants, contractors and city officials in producing a high level of service from pre-construction to construction.
Prior to her role as Assistant Project Manager Ms. Darnell was a Property Administrator for CBRE. Her duties included managing vendor contracts, insurance requirements, tenant processing and financial reporting. Before joining CBRE, Ms. Darnell was the Administrative Assistant to the Operations Department at Gachina Landscape Management. In this role, Ms. Darnell’s duties ranged from contract management, administration of weekly scheduling meeting, insurance management, proposal and presentation preparation and client communication.
