Neil Bayer works within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions as the Finance Manager on the EDMC Account. Neil joined the company in February of 2011 at the time CBRE began managing this corporate account nationwide.
As Finance Manager, Neil is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, and business operations at both the client and corporate level for the account. Neil’s primary duties include: preparing the annual operating budget and monthly reforecast, coordinating the month-end close including a detailed P&L review with variance explanations, presenting the monthly financial package to senior account executives, monitoring and reporting on account metrics and KPI’s, and undertaking various projects as requested by the client or the account leadership team.
Neil has more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience within various types of industries servicing public, private, and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining CBRE, Neil served as Assistant Vice President of Finance for a university located in Pittsburgh, which made him an ideal fit to join the EDMC Account. Neil began his career as a staff accountant and has held positions as accounting manager, controller, and finance director at various organizations.
