Paul Schwerdt is a Field Support Technician in CBRE’s FTS department. He joined CBRE in August 2013 and specializes in Computer helpdesk support.
Prior to joining CBRE, Paul started out as a computer operator and then became a COBOL programmer in the early 80s and 90s. Since 1997 he's worked primarily as a help desk technician and briefly as a network administrator, working for Computer Sciences Corporation and then for Unisys at Edwards Air Force Base. He received his degree in Philosophy from St. John’s Seminary College.
Paul has taught computer classes to Air Force personnel, so he’s familiar with training end users in an orderly, easy to understand format, and he’s not averse to speaking in public. He enjoys the challenge of researching and troubleshooting computer, network, and printing issues. His greatest job satisfaction comes from providing superior customer service. His customer service goal is to make it appear to each customer that he or she is his only customer.
