As Office Services Manager, Penelope Springer is responsible for managing activities related to office services operations (e.g. onboarding, office facilities, vendor relationship management, special events) and implementation of business continuity plans for an office(s). She coordinates, performs and supervises process improvement initiatives and acts as a liaison between field staff and regional leadership.
Prior to her current role, Penelope served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Memphis office, where she managed all financial operations of company, including budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, commission-generated revenue, and the monitoring of compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Before joining CBRE in 1994, Penelope worked with one of the largest and most respected accounting firms in the country, Coopers and Lybrand, which is now doing business as PricewaterhouseCoopers. During her five years at Coopers, she was a senior associate in the audit department. Her clients' lines of business ranged from manufacturing to real estate, and she worked extensively on several Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) for Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in 1994.
