Peter Alden is a seasoned real estate professional with a passion for improving the industry through technology.
As a Vice President at CBRE, Peter leads digital sales strategy and operations for key technology initiatives globally. Along with overseeing a global sales team, his responsibilities include leading and managing the Advisory and Transaction digital products strategy including product identification, sales approach, pricing, revenue measurement, success metrics and implementation across regions in partnership with internal business lines.
CBRE acquired Floored at the start of 2017, and the entire Floored team joined CBRE along with its two proprietary software products. Peter successfully integrated his team into the 80k person organization, executed a 71-office roadshow, expanded the team into APAC/EMEA, and exceeded product adoption goals. Prior to acquisition, Floored operated as a venture-backed real estate tech start-up based in New York City, building and selling next-generation 3D visualization software to the largest landlords and developers in the world. Peter joined Floored as one of the first employees to build the sales organization, and during his tenure, the sales team grew to 12, accomplished more than 8x revenue growth and achieved company profitability with its flagship software offering.
Prior to Floored, Peter was part of a top brokerage team at Cushman & Wakefield where he was the youngest member on the leasing team for One World Trade Center, worked on more than 10 million square feet of exclusive listings, represented some of New York City's largest and most prestigious landlords, and was a finalist for the Real Estate Board of New York's Most Promising Young Sales Person.
