As Managing Director of CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services | Occupier practice in Houston, Peter Mainguy oversees the full spectrum of occupier service offerings and the delivery of these services to tenants throughout the Houston area. He guides a team in delivering a combination of CBRE’s advisory services and products—including labor analytics, supply chain services, workplace strategy and property technology solutions—to deliver exceptional outcomes for every occupier client.
Prior to this role at CBRE, Mr. Mainguy led Sysco Corporation’s in-house global corporate real estate team and oversaw a 46-million-sq.-ft. portfolio of office and industrial product across North America, Central America, Europe and Asia. While at Sysco, Peter led the effort to centralize and standardize the company’s corporate real estate activities, including launching the company’s first real estate database and centralizing its lease payment process.
He is uniquely positioned to understand and diagnose the challenges and opportunities facing occupiers today. Prior to Sysco Corporation, Mr. Mainguy spent 10 years advising clients with real estate sales and leasing needs, including six years at CBRE. During his time as a broker, Peter completed hundreds of transactions with an aggregate value of more than $1B.
