Professional Experience
Petra Durnin is the director of research and analysis for CBRE’s Southern California, Hawaii and Arizona region, based at the firm’s headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles. Petra has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate on both the agency and corporate side. Her immersion in the real estate market makes her a true industry and thought leader.
In her capacity at CBRE, Petra manages a team of 35 research professionals and analysts who lead the industry in data analytics and visualization, client service, business development and content creation. In addition to providing and interpreting economic and market trends, Petra employs a high level of analytical and quantitative skills to deliver world class results, while aligning with and implementing regional and global initiatives. She also serves as a CBRE spokesperson, commenting on the region’s commercial real estate developments and trends in a variety of publications.
Prior to joining CBRE, Petra worked as the managing director of the Southwest/Denver region at Cushman & Wakefield for nearly 10 years.
