Richard J. Ratner is a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Los Angeles office specializing in providing real estate advisory services, corporate transactional and management services to clients on a local, regional and national basis. Mr. Ratner specializes in advising and representing law, finance, real estate and technology companies, both public and private. Some of those clients include Bel-Air Investment Advisors; Emerson College; Evolve Media; Hudson Pacific Properties; Imperial Capital; Liner Grode; Media Rights Capital, Bain & Company and Banc of California (650,000 square feet). He represents tenants in lease negotiations, renewals and relocations, building acquisitions and dispositions, sale/leasebacks and build-to-suits.
Prior to joining CBRE in July of 2010, Mr. Ratner held executive roles at Cushman & Wakefield in their West Los Angeles office. Prior to that, Mr. Ratner spent 10 years in Midtown Manhattan providing advisory and consultative real estate services.
He is involved in various civic and charitable organizations including the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, Southern California board member of The American Technion Society and the 2010 Co-Chair of the Jewish Federation’s Young Hillcrest Division.
Mr. Ratner also sits on the board for Determined to Succeed which provides enrichment resources to low-income middle school students.
Mr. Ratner received his Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University in Boston in 1993.
Mr. Ratner resides in Pacific Palisades with his wife Tammy and their three children.
In years 2013, 2014, and 2015 Mr. Ratner has been involved in negotiations involving over $500,000,000 in transactions on behalf of his clients.
