Scott Marshall serves as Americas President, Advisory & Transaction Services | Investor Leasing for CBRE. Mr. Marshall leads the activities of CBRE professionals on behalf of property owners across all property types in the Americas. This business encompassed 20,325 lease transactions valued at $45 billion in the U.S. in 2016. He was promoted to Americas President from Executive Managing Director in January 2018.
Previously, as Executive Managing Director of Industrial & Logistics Services for the Americas, Mr. Marshall managed and led all aspects of CBRE’s supply chain and logistics business in the United States, Canada and Latin America. He oversaw a team of professionals who were responsible for more than $33.6 billion in industrial transactions – leases and sales – in 2016 and who managed nearly 400 million sq. ft. of U.S. industrial properties at year end.
Mr. Marshall serves as the chairman of CBRE’s Americas Producer Advisory Board and on its Global Leadership Committee. He has also directed CBRE’s Global Supply Chain Practice, is a member of CBRE’s Americas Strategy, and Global Logistics boards, and chaired CBRE’s Industrial Advisory Council.
Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director of CBRE’s Chicago area, overseeing the industrial and suburban office agency groups, with additional responsibility for the Oak Brook office.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2011, Mr. Marshall was an Executive Managing Director with Colliers International, managing the firm’s strategy and development of its suburban office and industrial groups. Before Colliers he held executive and brokerage positions with Duke Realty Corp., first as a Senior Leasing Representative with the firm’s Chicago office leasing and development team and later as Vice President of the Chicago industrial group.
