Sean Timmons is a Vice President with CBRE Debt & Structured Finance. His wide array of previous industry experience in asset management, acquisitions and development on behalf of a variety of successful investors is especially suited to complex situations and creative financing structures, where he adds significant value through his analytical capabilities and prior operational experience.
Sean’s background includes 12 years on the owner / investor side of the real estate industry in asset management, acquisitions, and development-focused roles working on a wide variety of product types. His work in Denver includes some of the city’s highest-profile and most-complicated projects, including the award-winning Union Station redevelopment and the pioneering Dairy Block project in LoDo.
Prior to joining CBRE, Sean was the Vice President of Portfolio Management for McWhinney, where he served as a member of the company’s Investment Committee and oversaw the asset management and risk management functions, with additional involvement in development underwriting for some of the company’s most-complex pursuits. Prior to McWhinney, Sean led the creation of a real estate investment team for Dart Enterprises, a family office based in the Cayman Islands. He also gained deep experience in financial analysis and asset management while working as a Senior Financial Analyst for LaSalle Investment Management in both Denver and Chicago on a variety of separate account portfolios across the U.S. and Canada.
