Stephanie Beck is a Human Resources Manager who supports CBRE’s Local Market Area (LMA) Project Management Groups nationally and Global Corporate Services (GCS) accounts Northwestern Medicine, EDMC and West Penn Allegheny Health System. Stephanie maintains and enhances human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices. She is also active in Midwestern regional and national human resource projects.
From January 2011 – December 2013, Stephanie was chairperson of the Chicago CBRE Cares Philanthropic Committee. She has been involved with the committee since its inception in 2007, helped form the partnership with Finkl Academy and is proud to maintain involvement and a leadership voice in the coming years.
Stephanie joined CBRE Chicago in 2005 as an Office Operations Manager. She quickly became an integral part of the downtown Management Team, responsible for implementing effective policies and procedures for the 300+ employee office. In this role, her responsibilities included: serving as human resource office liaison through providing assistance with various complex issues, maintaining operating expenses with specific defined budget benchmarks while preserving a professional balance between commissioned brokers and their administrative support, who are responsible for upholding complex marketing agendas, budgetary restrictions and corporate initiatives.
Prior to joining CBRE, Stephanie was the central point of contact for all office management and human resource functions at Dorchester Corporation. She had a significant role in property accounting procedures, including a $22 million landmark status restoration. Stephanie has also served as an Assistant Property Manager for Louis Dreyfus Property Group and at 444 North Michigan Avenue as part of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, L.P.
