Tara Vassiliou is a Project Management Director within Global Workplace Solutions. She and her teams are responsible for the strategy and delivery of the Audio Visual, Dining, and Furniture programs as well as a myriad of Tenant Improvement projects for Microsoft.
Tara joined CBRE in 2013 as a Project Manager, focusing mainly on delivery of executive projects. Prior to this, Tara’s 15 years of experience included working as a Project Manager for a commercial architectural practice in Auckland, New Zealand and as the Capital Works Manager for one of Australia’s largest banks in Sydney - managing a team of Program Managers responsible for an annual budget of $85M; and a scope comprised of new and refurbished bank branches, corporate office fit-outs and multi-state roll outs.
Tara is a proactive professional with an extensive background in managing multi-faceted projects and teams. She has a strong track record of identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiencies and increase productivity; coupled with the ability to develop motivated and cohesive teams.
In addition to her project and program management experience, Tara has undertaken in-depth analysis and research to create strategic marketing and business plans; as well as reviewing over 70 projects relating to an investment of $100M+ for new technology initiatives on behalf of the New Zealand government within their Foundation for Research, Science and Technology. Industries included: medical devices, sensors, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, aquaculture, software, animal health devices and transportation.
Having travelled extensively and lived and worked in multiple countries including New Zealand, Australia, France, England and the United States – Tara also brings a unique international approach and cultural sensitivity to her work.
