Tim Michalek has been involved in heath care facility management since 2002 and has over 17 years of management experience. He has served in numerous roles within the facility management department for the Baylor Health Care System Account including overseeing system contracts, staffing, sustainability initiatives, daily and long-term operations for the System’s 13 million Square Feet. Tim has also been involved in numerous building transitions and due diligence inspections. He has been involved in several of the company’s best practice developments and is heavily involved in his current account’s LEAN initiatives.
Mr. Michalek is currently responsible for operations on the Baylor Healthcare account’s North Texas Operations Central Region.
- Responsible for managing operations team vendor management and contracting operations.
- Responsible for property management – acting as owner’s & tenant’s representative depending on situation.
- Responsible for financial reporting and variance documentation.
- Responsible for identifying and improving operations management, efficiencies and cost savings.
Before being hired in his current position in 2002, Mr. Michalek served as a Captain in the US Army and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy. During his time in the military, he served in numerous leadership and facility roles.
