Since 2000, Mr. Watson has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $250 million in northwest Florida across all property types. As CEO of JPB commercial since 2010, he was responsible for driving the strategic growth of the company, managing its team of sales agents, and handling the group’s major client relationships. Concurrently serving as vice president of the southeast region for JPB commercial’s parent company (JPB partners) since 2004, Mr. Watson acquired, managed and executed multiple land development projects in the northwest Florida region. Prior to that, he was a development principal and sales executive for St. Joe Company, where he spearheaded numerous shopping center and mixed-use developments.
Mr. Watson also ran the consulting division of Jamison research in Atlanta, focusing on commercial property acquisition and development, due diligence and portfolio strategy for a “who’s who” list of institutional investors, developers, lenders and REITs. His work ranged from Atlanta to Texas, from the Carolinas to Florida, where he was involved in an advisory capacity in over $1 billion worth of development and acquisitions in the latter half of the 1990s.
