Wayne Black serves as the Operations Manager for CBRE Hawaii Office. In partnership with Kim Lord, Senior Managing Director, he leads the activity of 70 brokers and staff members, while ensuring the smooth functioning of the office's operations and the high quality of service delivery CBRE is known for.
Mr. Black is responsible for all operational, financial, personnel, and administrative concerns. He develops annual capital and operational budgets, forecasts and monitors expenses, and develops and implements cost controls through contract renegotiations and initiatives such as Marketing Budgets. Mr. Black truly believes in everyone he works with. He is dedicated to his office and encourages personal and professional growth among the staff and professionals. His commitment to and respect of every member on his team make him an outstanding manager and a true leader.
Prior to his role as Operations Manager, Mr. Black was the Senior Marketing Specialist and acted as the lead marketing consultant on all business development and property marketing in the Hawaii region. After joining CBRE in 2000, Mr. Black worked as the Client Services Specialist in the Retail Advisory Services Division as the administrator to the needs of ten agents and their individual projects. In this capacity, he was primarily responsible for account and project management, execution of various research assignments and the oversight of the Resort Retail Services platform, along with, directing, coordinating, and creating specialized marketing materials for retail specific projects, including market data reports, property status reports, proposals (leasing, investment, and management), presentations, and offering memoranda, as well as maintaining the information flow of all ongoing projects.
