William Parker is the Account Operations Director for the Education Management Corporation account. William joined the company in January of 2014.
As the Account Operations Director, Mr. Parker oversees the delivery of Facilities Management and Project Management services balancing client priorities in the areas of cost, business and operational risk for a portfolio of properties in excess of 4.5M square feet across the United States.
Mr. Parker and his team of Regional Managers, Facilities Managers and Maintenance Technicians manage account programs aimed to ensure safety and compliance with national, state and local codes and regulations while striving to consistently exceed Client expectations. Responsibilities include client account inspections of all facilities, overseeing account site operations and new projects, as well as identifying capital improvement projects and conducting cost analyses supporting the preparation of capital budgets.
Mr. Parker has over 20 years of Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management and Project Management experience. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as the Director of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities for the US, Canada and Latin America for the Ciena Corporation.
Mr. Parker began his professional career at Nortel. Throughout his 15 years, he served in various positions within the organization including Facilities Management Coordinator, Senior Systems Integration Specialist, Client Prime, Real Estate Operations Prime (Mid-Atlantic & Southeast Region) and Real Estate Operations Prime (US East Region).
