Alex is a Senior Research Analyst on the global investor research team at CBRE. In this role he works closely with senior retail leaders to generate impactful research on retail real estate leasing and sales trends. His work involves conducting frequent interviews with sales professionals, surfacing insights from CBRE’s proprietary databases, and tracking the latest developments in technology, consumer spending and ESG issues. Given his passion for data visualization, Alex also advises colleagues on best practices for presenting complex CRE data. He has authored numerous reports and has been quoted in WSJ, Commercial Observer, Bloomberg, Biznow and other publications.
Alex is based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as a Presidential Fellow at George Washington University while earning his Master’s in Applied Economics. Alex has run six marathons and aims to complete a race in a new city every year. He is from Taipei, Taiwan.
