Amberly Washington serves as Director, Transaction Management for the Global Portfolio Services (GPS) team which specializes in global and national corporate real estate partnerships. CBRE’s GPS team actively manages client real estate portfolios for mid- sized, privately held companies and Fortune 500 industry leaders.
Amberly Washington is a results-driven professional with a 16+ year track record in managing transactions of all sizes, developing portfolio strategies (including M&A), assessing and implementing key process and technology improvements, and cultivating client and broker relationships.
By design, Amberly‘s knowledge and expertise is vast and represents not only her passion for commercial real estate but also her desire to bring a unique perspective to each role that she takes. She has experience working for and representing tenants, landlords, owner/users, and investors, overseeing portfolios ranging between 600k SF and 90M+ SF, and is familiar with a wide range of property types, including industrial, land, office, retail, co-working, telecom, and healthcare.
Prior to her current role as the Transaction Lead at CBRE@Waymo, Amberly spent most of her career at JLL and was most recently recruited by Rexford Industrial (the second largest U.S. industrial REIT) to streamline processes and build a new team of transaction and due diligence professionals executing over 50 acquisitions ($3B) in one year. From sourcing and securing short-term COVID-19 testing and vaccination parking sites to previously owning an event production and venue management company with multi-state operations, Amberly excels in unpredictable and innovative environments.
