Brent Davidson is Vice President and a member of CBRE’s Federal Lessor Advisory Group (FLAG) in Washington D.C. Mr. Davidson executes strategic action plans for property owners and investors that incorporates a detailed approach to navigating the complex real estate requirements unique to federal agency leasing. Drawing from his broad background in deal negotiation, valuation, acquisitions and dispositions, Mr. Davidson integrates market data and agency requirements to drive transaction outcomes and assets’ bottom lines.
Mr. Davidson’s primary role is leadership of CBRE’s Postal Property Solutions platform, which specializes in the leasing, sale and acquisition of properties leased to the United States Postal Service. The USPS is a unique government occupier that self-performs all Postal real estate functions. Mr. Davidson provides investors and owners with critical insight to Postal Services operations and facilities, gleaned from his previous eight-year engagement advising the USPS, where he managed more than 2.5 million square feet of Postal real estate transactions with a total transaction value of over $1.2 billion.
Previously, Mr. Davidson held analyst and asset management positions with Real Estate Capital Partners, an investment manager of sponsored funds and separate accounts, The Mills Group, a private real estate investment firm, and Advantis Real Estate, a full-service real estate advisory firm. In these roles he contributed property underwriting, market assessment and contract negotiation for more than 1 million square feet of leasing and sale transactions.
