As a Senior Project Manager on the Kansas City Project Management Team, David Myers is responsible for managing capital investments, tenant improvements and ground-up projects from inception to completion. David is accountable for delivering his clients’ overall project objectives by managing project planning, design and construction coordination, budget, schedule and closeout.
David provides direction and leadership by overseeing all facets of project planning, development, contract negotiation and administration, selection of designers and contractors, design, construction, furniture and equipment and move management. He leads project execution on behalf of both tenants and landlords.
David has more than 30 years of experience overseeing a wide range of commercial construction projects for both private and commercial clients with budgets of up to $350M. He has worked with owners, developers, and contractors in reviewing drawings, creating scopes of work, soliciting bids and evaluating proposals. David has the expertise to manage all aspects of construction projects with the ability to lead large-scale projects from inception through completion, while ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

150,000 SF renovation/expansion of an existing hospital which consisted of operating rooms, labor delivery rooms, full nursery, patient rooms, new radiology department with MRI, full cafeteria and office/support areas.
- Hillsboro Hospital, Hillsboro, KS
New build project of 75,000 SF hospital with outpatient clinic, surgery, trauma center, patient rooms, X-ray and CT wing.
- Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO
Renovation at the Barry Road location consisting of four projects: Acute Clinic wing; Cardiology floor; Pain Clinic and Pharmacy.
Renovation of retail pharmacy at the Plaza location.
- Bradford Hospital, Olathe, KS
New build project of 50,000 SF hospital including urgent care, patient rooms, trauma center, X-ray and CT rooms.
- Emergency Department Phase IIB Renovations, Kansas City, MO

Built 3 patient rooms, a wellness center and restroom, and relocated Med Gas room in the middle of an 24/7 Emergency Department.

Coordinated the installation of ed floor meters and temperature sensor throughout entire occupied hospital at approximately 120 locations on 21 floors.

Relocated PT Gym into a 4-story atrium with landscaped roof next to the cafeteria and renovated a partial floor.
- Boiler House Upgrades, St. Cloud, MN

Coordinated the upgrade of the utilities and repainted the ceiling above four active boilers.

27,000 SF one-story commons and wellness center with steel framing.
36,000 SF two-story assisted living wing with wood framing.
Three-wing, 120,000 SF three-story independent living wing with structural metal studs.
Project also included a 30,000 SF below grade concrete parking garage.
- IRS/Main Post Office, Kansas City, MO
Renovation of the Railway Express Authority building to house post office executive offices.
Construction of two new parking structures for 1,500 spaces. One structure was post tension cable and the other precast panel.
Renovation of the old Post Office building on Pershing to house 400,000 SF of executive office space for the Internal Revenue Service. The renovation included adding a four-story atrium in the center of the existing building with a smoke evacuation system. Project also included the construction of a 700,000 SF concrete structure for the IRS processing wings with underground parking for 3,800 spaces.
- Pilgrim’s Pride Data Center, Richardson, Texas
Renovation of a 40,000 SF data center.
Work included gutting of the building and the construction of a data center with new mechanical and electrical systems. This included constructing a mezzanine level inside the building to support the mechanical equipment.
The renovation included new cooling tower basins, new electrical switchgear and upgrading the existing generator backup system.
- Sprint Data Center Utility Upgrade, Irving, Texas
Data center project consisted of the relocation of 24 air conditioning units and the replacement of 18 additional units in an active data center.
Project included the installation of two backup generators, two 12,000-gallon fuel storage tanks, six 200-gallon fuel tanks, new switchgear and control panel for six generators, and the installation of new feed and electrical gear to the active structure.
Coordinated closely with the staff of the facility to maintain existing operations in the building.
- Kirkwood Residential Development, Kansas City, MO
Pre-development of Phase I Kirkwood Residential Development, a 10-acre, maintenance-free, luxury residential neighborhood just south of the Country Club Plaza.
Phase I includes a 13-story structure with 68 condominium units and 3½ levels of below grade parking; two 5-story structures with 18 condominium units and underground parking; and three custom town house and two row home structures.
Project also includes infrastructure improvements.
- Rose Brooks Center, Kansas City, MO
New construction on 46,000 SF residential facility for abused women.
Project included two wood framed structures. The first building consisted of three residential wings, a common area, cafeteria, administrative offices and donation storage area. The second structure was a childcare building. Both buildings were wired as a secure site monitored by cameras and sensors.
