Associated Office
Gary Nussbaum, a 30-year real estate veteran, is a Senior Vice President and a senior partner in the CBRE Chicago-Midwest Capital Markets Instituional Properties team which he joined in 2020. During his career, Gary has completed over 34 million square feet of transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3.2 billion with a proven track record of success.
Prior to joining CBRE, Gary served as Managing Director of Transwestern’s Chicago -Midwest Investment Sales Group which he launched in 1999. Gary consistantly ranked among the top producers nationwide at Transwestern. In 2009 and 2010, he served as a Mananging Director at Eastdil Secured, rejoining Transwestern in 2010. Gary began his career in commercial real estate in 1990 with Cushman & Wakefield where he participated in investment sales assignments of 2.5 million square feet of office property. He also served corporate clients in domestic and international tenant representation, building agency leasing, land disposition and acquisition.
Gary has experience working with clients including: Allianz, Bentall Kennedy, CIGNA, Cornerstone, Duke Realty, Equity Commonwealth REIT, GlenStar, Intercontinental, Hudson Advisors, ING Realty Partners, Invesco, Investcorp, KBS Realty Advisors, Lexington Realty Trust, LNR, Middleton Advisors, Mitsui Fudosan, Northwestern Mutual, Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Prudential Real Estate Investors, Romanek Properties, State Farm and FD Stonewater Properties.
