In his Senior Project Manager role in the New Jersey region, Gerald (Jerry) Martingano is responsible for developing project plans and implementation strategies for minor and major construction projects. In this role, Jerry manages all aspects of projects including the preparation and tracking of project estimates and schedules, negotiating contracts and managing consultants for variable PJM resources.
When Jerry first joined CBRE, he worked on the Avaya account and led a number of successful projects including lab expansion projects in NJ and CO, a high-end executive briefing center in San Francisco and various lab and office expansion projects in India and China. His recent experience in New Jersey with local clients has placed him as a top performing CBRE Senior Project Manager nationally among 2,100 PJMs. Jerry has the depth and understanding to manage the large corporate accounts with projects globally as well as the local knowledge in New Jersey to successfully manage projects ranging in size from 1,000 square feet to 170,000 square feet. This adaptability and orientation toward customer satisfaction places Jerry in the top 10 percentile in the country.
Prior to joining CBRE, Jerry worked for various telecommunication companies including Telcordia and AT&T Bell Laboratories, all headquartered in New Jersey. He held a number of important positions within these companies including Construction Manager for hundreds of lab and office expansions and interior fit-out projects and Corporate Real Estate Manager responsible for the administration of 2.8 million square feet of commercial office space in both domestic and international markets.
