Associated Office
As a Real Estate Manager for Class-A office space in downtown Chicago, Griffin is responsible for managing all aspects of a single property and overseeing daily operations and financial activities.
Griffin has six years of commercial property management experience and currently serves as the Real Estate Manager for 150 N. Michigan, a Class-A high-rise in downtown Chicago. Griffin is responsible for the daily operations at the building, including managing the buildings’ janitorial and security staffs and managing the buildings’ service contracts. Additionally, Griffin prepares the annual budgets, monthly financial reports and annual reconciliations. Also, Griffin has been the landlord representative on over 55,000sf of tenant improvement projects. While working for CBRE Global Investors, Griffin was a part of numerous capital improvement projects including, a full lobby renovation ($3.5M), multiple restroom and corridor upgrades ($1.2M), full amenity floor upgrade ($900K), and more. Griffin oversees a robust tenant retention program which was rebranded to A&B, Above and Beyond, which is unique to Global Investors. In 2018, Griffin led the management team in achieving LEED Gold certification from the USGBC.
Prior to his current role, Griffin was the Assistant Real Estate Manager at 353 N. Clark, a 1.2 million square foot Class A+ high-rise in downtown Chicago. Griffin served as the escalation point for tenant needs and requests, coordinating with the maintenance and engineering teams. He managed and coordinated the tenant retention program through tenant appreciation events, seasonal celebrations and large-scale events (i.e.: summer concert series) for 2,000+ tenants. Griffin assisted the Accountant and Real Estate Manager with the monthly reporting and worked with the Accountant on and personally managed all tenant billing and collection of rent. Griffin also served as the Real Estate Services Administrator at the same building. While at 353 N. Clark, the property management team was able to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC.
