Jeff Hipschman started his career on Wall Street and has since developed a unique skillset that focuses on the creative development, management and expansion of multi-disciplined organizations. By tapping into his 20-plus years of business experience spanning Information Technology, Operations, HR, Finance, Legal and specialized brokerage transactions, Mr. Hipschman brings a comprehensive perspective to his position as Senior Managing Director, overseeing all service lines in Northern and Central New Jersey, as well as all Industrial & Logistics services throughout the Northeast.

In this dual role, Mr. Hipschman provides market leadership for 161 professionals servicing New Jersey’s office, industrial and retail markets, as well as 65 professionals providing comprehensive Industrial & Logistics advisory services across the northeastern United States. He guides CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics strategy in the highly dynamic markets across New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and the Outer Boroughs of New York City, ensuring a seamless and synchronized service delivery in one of the world’s largest and most complex industrial and logistics regions.

Mr. Hipschman has also led several industry-changing initiatives involving the movement and processing of information. From the first web-based transaction management system to leading the launch of the REBNY/New York City commercial property listing exchange, he continues to find new ways to improve efficiencies and offer colleagues and clients new insight into the markets in which they operate.

Mr. Hipschman began his career in the commercial real estate industry at Julien J. Studley, Inc., where he ultimately was named Chief Technology Officer with oversight of all market data and information management and delivery systems. Previously, he was an equity trading systems specialist for Lehman Brothers and, prior to that, Salomon Brothers.
