Jennifer Bernstein

Jennifer Bernstein, an experienced retail real estate professional, is a Vice President (Honorary Title) focusing on representation for luxury and contemporary brands.

A born-and-raised New Yorker and ten-year industry veteran, Bernstein was a Senior Managing Director at Current Real Estate Advisors from 2019 to 2023. In her time there, she ran their retail leasing group on both the tenant and landlord side. Among her many successes were a national rollout for LoveShackFancy stores across the country, over 25 stores for Leap in Manhattan, six stores for Glowbar on the East Coast, and three stores for American Eagle and their subsidiary brands. She has represented various landlords including Premier Equities, Continental Ventures, select Upper East Side co-ops and others.

Previously, Bernstein was at ABS Partners Real Estate for six years starting in 2013. She represented the Kellogg Company, Momofuku, Momofuku Milk Bar, Bandier, Hickey Freeman, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Brodo, MNDFL, Keetsa and SLT, among others. On the landlord representation side, she worked with Acadia Realty Trust, Hudson Companies and Croman Real Estate.

Before her career in real estate, Bernstein was a Senior Account Executive at Goodman Media International, Inc., handling public relations for media, publishing and consumer accounts. Some of her former clients were the iconic Grand Central Terminal, The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Time Home Entertainment Inc., PBS, Telemundo, Sports Illustrated and the Hess Toy Truck.

Bernstein is a 2009 graduate of New York University. She was a University Honors Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She lives on the Upper East Side of New York City with her husband, two children and a dog.
