Based in San Francisco, Jenny Haeg is Vice Chairman of CBRE’s Advisory & Transactions, specializing in the representation of high-growth startups and technology companies in the Bay Area and across the nation. Nicknamed San Francisco’s “startup whisperer” by TechCrunch, Ms. Haeg’s key clients include Airbnb, Scale AI, Perplexity AI, Gusto, Affirm and Coinbase. Ms. Haeg joined CBRE in 2017 following its acquisition of Custom Spaces, the first and only female-founded commercial real estate firm in San Francisco history, which she founded and led as CEO.
Ms. Haeg is one of the most experienced and well-respected brokers in San Francisco. Throughout her career, she has primarily represented tenants and has engineered some of the most creative deals in the City’s history. No one has completed more headquarters transactions over the last ten years than Jenny Haeg.
Much of Ms. Haeg’s success in the technology and media space has been attributed to her unique ability to understand the cultural identity of her clients and make sure that that identity is maintained as their businesses continue to scale. She is dedicated to making certain that the core values each client has instilled in their early employees is not lost as they enter hyper-growth.
Prior to founding Custom Spaces, Jenny was a Senior Vice President at The CAC Group (since acquired by CBRE). At The CAC Group Jenny was named “Rookie Of The Year” her first year at the company, and quickly became a Top Producer. She was the youngest SVP in the company’s history, and the quickest ever to be promoted to that role. During her time at CAC she lead the negotiations the lease for Airbnb’s San Francisco Headquarters, Dropbox’s San Francisco Headquarters, and Twitter’s original headquarter space.
Jenny received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California majoring in Communications with a minor in Business. Jenny graduated with honors and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Association.
