Associated Office
As Vice Chairman, Jeremy Kronman specializes in Asset Leasing and Brokerage, with a focus on value-added, development and re-positioning opportunities. His clients rely, expect and receive professional strategy, guidance and execution on complicated real estate transactions. He has been repeatedly recognized in multiple industry journals, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal for these skills.
Mr. Kronman has spent the last 31 years specializing in Commercial Real Estate and has been responsible for the leasing or sale of more than $10 billion of real estate assets, representing over 2,300 closed real estate transactions for more than 28 million square feet. Prior to joining CBRE in 2007, he was the Executive Vice President at the Soffer Organization, a Senior Vice President and Director of Investment Sales at Insignia Oxford, a Vice President of the Trammell Crow Company, and a senior member of NAI’s brokerage team. His career started as a consultant at Arthur Andersen.
CBRE Pittsburgh has ranked him its #1 broker for fifteen consecutive years from 2007 thru 2021, and CBRE consistently ranks him as one of its top brokers nationally including 13 recognition conferences and 5 Colbert Coldwell Circle awards. He served on CBRE’s National Brokerage Advisory Board thru 2016, and was a Charter member of CBRE’s Agency Office Advisory Council. In 2018, 2012, 2010, and 2009 SIOR recognized him nationally for the largest office lease deals of the year. Mr. Kronman was highlighted by Real Estate Forum for the largest lease in the country in 2007, and named by Real Estate Forum as 1 of the top 5 office brokers in the United States in 2008. Locally, he has received more than 50 regional brokerage awards, and his transactions have been recognized more than 100 times in the Pittsburgh Business Times’ annual list of the Largest Real Estate leases; including 10 times as the largest transaction of the year.

Mr. Kronman is also among the 1% of brokers nationally who hold both the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations, and has been published in the national magazines of both organizations as well as industry journals, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Kronman holds a BS in Economics from the University of Michigan, and both a MBA in Finance and a MS in Management of Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business. He has also completed numerous post-graduate courses, including ‘Running a Private Real Estate Company’ at Harvard’s Graduate Business School as well as “Negotiating Complex Multi-Party Business Deals” at Harvard’s Law School.

Downtown Class A Office Building Repositioning Staring occupancy at the building was 55% with the majority of tenancy had leases expiring within 24 months. Occupancy was increased thru aggressive repositioning to 95%, while increasing rent by 42% and achieving a GOLD LEED rating for the building.

USAA Real Estate
Suburban Class A Building Repositioning. Two office building complex of 250,000 SF with a starting combined occupancy rate of 24% and non-compliant fire/life safety or restrooms and outdated HVAC. In 24 months produced a 95% occupancy, set the market peak for rental rates, achieved a LEED Gold certification for building renovations and enables USAA to sell the asset for the highest price per SF in the entire sub-market.

Urban Brownfield Redevelopment and University / Tech Sector Leasing
Conversion of a former Nabisco factory in an unproven location which sat as a forbidden industrial site for over 2 years. Currently 1,000,000 SF are 96% leased, Platinum LEED Certified, and hosting office space to some of the nation’s premier technology companies and universities.
