Recognized as one of the leading commercial real estate specialists in the Orange County, Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles submarkets, John has developed a wealth of diverse knowledge in leasing, developing, and disposing of commercial properties and land. Initially joining CBRE Inc. in 2016, John brings over 24-years of experience and proven leadership within the industry. He has been involved in over 3.5 million square feet of leasing transactions and $1 Billion of sales transactions while representing clients such as Trammel Crow, Buchannan Street Partners, AT&T, Chrysler Financial, The Lincoln Property Company, and Legacy Partners.
Leveraging a nine-year stint in development and entitlements, John adds a unique perspective to Advisory & Transaction services. Drawing on his strong educational background, he blends adept business acumen with creative problem solving in order to maximize the return for his clients and investors. His
spectrum spans from finance, real estate development, real estate law, contract and lease negotiation, appraisal and valuation, construction management, marketing, and LEED Core Concepts. John brings with him an energetic and refreshing outlook on how to better serve his clients.
Prior to joining CBRE, John was a Director at Cushman & Wakefield responsible for marketing and leasing/sales negotiations for office and industrial properties
representing both owners and tenants. John recently returned to CBRE after a year-long hiatus in which he served as Vice President of Real Estate for Houston based Artificial Intelligence Software company ThoughtTrace, which was acquired by Thomson Reuters. It was there that he led the Commercial Real Estate product line assisting clients on implementing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into their daily operations for document understanding, providing deeper insight into their real estate portfolios.
Over his career, John has been directly responsible for the development and disposition of a variety of product types including multi-family, retail, industrial,
retail, office and land. His specialties include: Sustainable Building Design and Construction, Sales and Marketing Strategy, Business Development, Sales Management, Contract & Lease Negotiations, Real Estate Finance & Pro-Forma Modeling, Team Leadership and Development, Appraisal and Valuations, Property Management, Market Research and Forecasting, and Construction Management.
