John Jackson joined CBRE as First Vice President in March 2022 with Retail Services in Pittsburgh. At CBRE, Mr. Jackson works alongside Herky Pollock, Tommy McCafferty, and Sean Schachner, focusing on leasing, sales and portfolio evaluations for agency assignments, as well as tenant and portfolio advisory.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jackson has repositioned mixed-use assets within the urban core and throughout the metro area. His work has attracted many first-time, high-profile tenants to Pittsburgh, including major retailers.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Jackson served as senior vice president with Cushman and Wakefield | Grant Street Associates (C&W), where he also focused on retail leasing and investment sales. While there, he leased space to clients in a wide range of sectors, from big-box retailers and fast-casual restaurants to financial institutions and real estate investors.
Mr. Jackson began his career in real estate as a corporate sales, marketing and finance representative for NVR Inc. He is a retired United States Army Veteran and served as a communications sergeant in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
