John Poland

John M. Poland is a Senior Appraiser with the CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services group, and has 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate appraisal industry.  Mr. Poland joined CBRE in 2010 and provides appraisal and appraisal review services throughout the state of New Mexico.  His extensive experience in the New Mexico market and his ability to analyze market trends allows him to provide the most up-to date, comprehensive analysis of each project he is involved with.  Mr. Poland has experience working on a wide variety of valuation projects including: multi-housing properties, medical office buildings, retail shopping centers, industrial facilities, residential subdivisions, vacant land, auto dealerships, single tenant net leased investments, restaurants, and specialty property. In addition, Mr. Poland consistently utilizes all the resources the CBRE platform has to offer to ensure that his clients have all the information needed to make an informed decision.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Poland was a principal in an independent fee appraisal firm, as well as vice president and regional manager with two prominent lending institutions, providing appraisal, appraisal review, and consulting services in the Bay Area and Central Valley markets of Northern California.

Mr. Poland has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from San Jose State University.  He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the states of New Mexico (active) and California (inactive).
