Lacey Willard is an executive at CBRE bringing more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a law degree and academic focus in real property and corporate-related matters. She previously led Global Risk Management at CBRE and operations for CBRE’s Corporate Responsibility Office, guided CBRE’s pandemic health response, built the Global Center of Excellence for Workplace Safety & Wellbeing, served as an Asset Manager with institutional and investor clients as part of CBRE’s Client Care group, and acted as a court-appointed receiver for over 100 cases. In each, through her work in developing custom technology, CBRE is able to measure impact and risk, and progress toward goals across business lines, securing industry-wide recognition.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Willard managed a portfolio of government-owned and leased commercial real estate as a Senior Manager and Contracting Officer in the federal public sector with the General Services Administration. Key accomplishments included an International Building of the Year Award and published works and conscription to FEMA’s Emergency Support Function (ESF) 7.

Once the asset has been stabilized, the secondary role of the Receiver is to serve in a stewardship role for the improvement and/or dissolution of the asset, while at all times helping to maintain the veil of protection the lender/debt holder is seeking through our service.
Our dedicated Recovery and Restructuring Services specialty allows access to CBRE's fully-integrated platform designed exclusively for distressed real state loans and assets. RRS provides a single point of entry and streamlined communication to navigate CBRE's combined advisory, analysis and solution services. Additionally, we have significant experience in the role of court-appointed Receiver, with access to local professionals intimately familiar with the legal process of receivership.
