Matt Banas joined CBRE in 2018 as an Associate on the Retail Investment Sales team. He focuses on multi-tenant investment properties in Texas and the Southwest region of the United States. Matt places an emphasis on providing strategic guidance that increases the value of his clients’ retail investments while helping them meet their critical business objectives.
Matt leverages his local and regional market knowledge, extensive personal database and the CBRE platform to maximize the value and exposure of an asset to ensure speed-to-market and the highest possible sales price.
Prior to his Associate role, Matt interned with the CBRE Capital Markets team beginning in 2017 and was one of 13 Sales Analyst interns chosen out of 800 applicants. As an intern, he underwrote a wide variety of both single and multi-tenant retail investment properties to support upper level management and brokers. In addition, he assisted with the creation of numerous documents and packages including: Offering Memorandums, Capabilities Decks, Broker's Opinion of Value, Letters of Intent, and Purchase and Sale Agreements.
