Mike Latham has more than seventeen years of experience in the real estate industry. He is currently serving as a Director of Property Management for Georgia and Alabama. His responsibilities include senior oversight for over 40 million square feet of office, retail and industrial. Mr. Latham’s oversight includes financial and operational management, client interaction, tenant relations, portfolio value enhancement strategies, staff supervision and sustainability implementation.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Latham successfully managed several Class “A” trophy assets in the Downtown and Midtown commercial office submarkets of Atlanta for over 8 years with Jones Lang LaSalle, Equity Office Properties and Cousins Properties. During that time, he guided the properties and property teams during interim transitions through asset dispositions to new ownerships. Mr. Latham’s career began with Cousins Properties as an entry level Engineer at the hi-rise Class “A” Downtown property for which he later managed.

Mr. Latham has distinguished himself in the area of leadership by being awarded CBRE’s Asset Services Atlanta Team Leader of the Year in 2010 and Sustainability Leader of the Year in 2013. Mr. Latham also served on the CBRE Atlanta Advisory Board and held position of chairperson for both 2010 and 2011.

Additionally, Mr. Latham holds the LEED Accredited Professional designation and has achieved numerous sustainability certifications for his current portfolio. He also continues to be active with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), recently serving on the Board of Directors and a fifth term on the Government Affairs Committee, acting as Vice Chair in 2016.
