Patrick Connell is a Global Account Executive with CBRE’s Global Client Care team and Executive Sponsor for the U.S. Receivership / Distressed Assets Practice. In his role within Client Care, he oversees the integrated and comprehensive service delivery of assignments for several of CBRE’s top institutional and private equity clients. He is responsible for overseeing strategy formation and account management across service lines with a team of CBRE professionals.

Client Care provides dedicated real estate professionals who serve institutional and investor clients as a single point of contact with the support of a global team. With a focus on ensuring that CBRE creates exceptional client outcomes, these specialists expertly navigate and leverage the entire CBRE platform on behalf of their investor clients.

As the Executive Sponsor for CBRE’s U.S. Receivership / Distressed Assets Practice, he assists in providing lenders of distressed assets with comprehensive value-add services spanning multiple CBRE service lines with a national team of CBRE professionals.

Patrick joined CBRE in 2010, and prior to his role with Client Care he was responsible for business development and client relations for CBRE’s Recovery & Restructuring Services group. He also co-led the CBRE Auction Services platform.

Patrick possesses more than 30 years of specialized real estate investment management experience. His transactional and asset management expertise was developed while employed with special servicing, private equity, and institutional advisory firms. Prior to his career with CBRE, Patrick held executive positions with CWCapital Asset Management, where he was responsible for a $2 billion national portfolio of office and industrial CMBS assets; New Boston Fund, Inc., where he provided oversight of the company’s Mid-Atlantic portfolio and helped to establish a regional investment platform in the Washington, D.C. market; and, RREEF/Deutsche Bank, where he provided asset management leadership in the Mid-Atlantic region.
