Paula Tobiason is a Financial Analyst for CBRE. With over 21 years of experience as a commercial construction accountant, Ms. Tobiason is responsible for managing various financial reports for the Northern California region as well as supporting the Project Management team. Ms. Tobiason manages department goals and metrics by collecting data and reporting results. Ms. Tobiason accomplishes various project tasks including preparing monthly invoicing, analyzing profit and loss statements, reviewing accounts receivable reports, trending staffing needs and future projects.
Prior to her role in CBRE’s Project Management department, Ms. Tobiason was a Corporate Accountant for SC Builders. While there, Ms. Tobiason worked with Project Managers to input estimates and owner billings, monthly allocation of overhead, and formation of billing rates for personnel. She also cross-trained in AP, subcontract AP, AR and payroll. Ms. Tobiason performed all accounting functions for multiple, related party LLC’s involved in the acquisition and development of residential properties.
Prior to joining SC Builders, Ms. Tobiason was a Divisional Controller and Jobsite Accountant at Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction where she managed and coordinated accounting functions for a regional office of a state-wide construction company, with an annual gross income of $53M to $250M.
