Phillip joined CBRE in 2011, with more than 30 years' experience in the Downtown core, specializing in value-add, adaptive re-use, ground-up and creative tech. During the course of his career he has negotiated investment sales transactions totaling more than $5 billion in sales, and leasing transactions in excess of 4,000,000 square feet. Phillip is proud to represent the interests of such esteemed clients as Federal Reserve Bank, County of Los Angeles, Far East National Bank, Chase, The Hearst Corporation, American Red Cross, Bechtel Investment & Development, Operating Engineers Pension Fund, Downtown Properties, The Alliance for Children’s Rights, YWCA of Greater Los Angeles, among many others. 2019 Interior Design – Power Grid L.A. voted Phillip the 2
nd most influential broker in Southern California.
As Senior Vice President, Phillip was one of the founders who helped to start up Urban Investment within CBRE, Inc. With his knowledge as head of the Financial Services Asset Management Division for the Western Region of the Grubb-Ellis Company from 2008-2010 where his team underwrote and evaluated $3.4 billion in distressed debt for properties across the United States. Coupled with his vast experience from working at Julien J. Studley, Inc. and Newmark Capital Group. These experiences have helped him and the team to create an Investment platform focused on Office, Adaptive-ReUse, Mixed Use Development, and Land sales.
