Robert Bickel is the Executive Vice President and West Region Co-Lead for CBRE’s Corporate Capital Markets Group. Rob brings expertise in credit analysis, finance, lease accounting, tax, and transaction structuring of large, single-tenant assets. Rob is instrumental in helping occupiers evaluate real estate alternatives and make the best financial decisions particularly around portfolio optimization, build-to-suit, and sale leaseback executions.

Rob joined CBRE from JLL where he spent 5 years in a similar role working with Corporate Users and Investors in the sale of single tenant assets. Before JLL, Rob worked for Sovereign Investment Company where he was the Managing Partner and Head of Acquisitions focused on providing structured finance solutions to owners and investors of single-tenant assets. Rob has more than 25 years of experience within the commercial real estate industry. Most notably, he has completed approximately $15.0 billion in transactions encompassing all property types over his career. Prior to Sovereign, Rob was an Acquisition Officer for iStar Financial where his sole focus was to underwrite and originate single-tenant transactions across the country in the form of sale leasebacks, build-to-suits, and existing leases. Prior to iStar, Rob spent more than three years with RREEF / Deutsche Bank as a member of the West Coast’s acquisition team.
