Mr. Yee has extensive experience in the servicing, underwriting and financing of commercial real estate debt for life insurance companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Wall Street conduits. Currently, as Vice President on the Debt and Structured Finance team, Mr. Yee’s primary responsibility is executing financing assignments, with a focus on small balance apartment lending in Houston and across the US. He provides advisory services to a wide range of investors and maintains an active client network.
In 2015, Mr. Yee was influential in launching CBRE’s Freddie Mac Small Balance Loan (SBL) Program and served as the Deputy Chief Underwriter where he oversaw all East Coast business. During his time in this role, CBRE funded over $2 billion in small multifamily loans and in 2017 became the nation’s top SBL lender.
Throughout his career, Mr. Yee has successfully originated, underwritten and closed commercial mortgage debt and equity for all property types across the country and has executed complex financing structures. Mr. Yee began his career as a Portfolio Analyst with CBRE Loan Services in 2007, where he focused on collateral review and loan payoffs.
